Manzano High School - Building K Addition


 

Soleil West designed the new addition to Building K at Manzano High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Working with Albuquerque Public Schools, Soleil West strived to design an addition that would provide the Special Education Program with an adequate gymnasium, additional classrooms, and the opportunity for an increasingly prosperous learning environment.

The project also included additional classrooms for the culinary arts department and the ROTC program.

The new addition nearly doubled the existing building square footage with approximately 29,750 total square feet. The building now totals over 62,000 square feet.

 

The project was completed in 2009.
