Kit Carson Elementary School
Soleil West designed the new Administration Building and Art/Music Classroom at Kit Carson Elementary School in Albuquerque New Mexico. The administration building houses the school's administrative offices, and is approximately 4,275 total square feet. In the summer of 2011, the building officially became LEED Certified by the United States Green Building Council. The Building features many environmentally conscious design strategies, including: recycled exterior brick, daylighting techniques, recycled interior finishes, and rain water harvesting for sustainable irrigation of the building's landscaping. The project was completed in 2009. |

The Art/Music Classroom is approximately 1,785 total square feet. In the summer of 2011, the building officially became LEED® Certified by the United States Green Building Council. The Building features many environmentally conscious design strategies, including: passive solar hearing, daylighting techniques, recycled interior finishes, and rain water harvesting for sustainable irrigation of the building's landscaping. The project was completed in 2009. |
