Las Vegas City Hall - Entry Remodel

Soleil West designed the remodel of the Las Vegas City Hall.

The remodel included a new aluminum storefront entry, a new reception area, waiting area, improved teller and clerk areas, new flooring and casework, and exterior finish upgrades including new stucco, accent stone work, and new exterior paint.

The remodel totals 1,275 square feet and was completed in 2011.

Wagon Mound Public Schools- Theater Remodel

Soleil West designed the full interior remodel of the Wagon Mound Public Schools Theater in Wagon Mound, New Mexico. The renovation, which was completed in 2005, included ADA accessibility improvements, new lighting and projection equipment, as well as seating, flooring, and wall finish upgrades.

A 3800 square foot addition to Mora High School, Phase 2 of the High School Improvements, was completed in August 2004. The addition included a media center/library, a sixty-four seat viewing room, a home economics room, a fine arts room, administrative offices, a student resource center, and the student commons area shown above.

Soleil West designed the remodeling for Robertson High School, in Las Vegas, NM, in five phases. These renovations, which began in 1998, have included the addition of an elevator, classroom remodeling, a new ventilation system, heating system upgrade, roofing, window replacement, new cabinets and sinks, upgrading the building for ADA compliance, electrical upgrades for technology, fire rated classroom doors for safety, and fire alarm and lighting. The remodeling was completed in February 2003.

Robertson High School Science Classroom Peņasco Science Classroom

Science Classrooms

The Robertson High School Science & Technology Center (left) was built in 1996, and added two needed science classrooms to an existing library building. The Peñasco Science Classrooms (right) were also built in 1996. They include biology, physics, and chemistry classrooms.

Los Niños Elementary School

The Los Niños Elementary School, in Las Vegas, NM, was built in 1989. Kevin Balciar was the project architect for the entire school, which included 24 classrooms. The media center is shown on the left.

Santa Rosa de Lima Church Remodel

The remodel and restoration to the historic Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, NM was completed in 2002.

The majority of the remodeling and restoration was to the exterior of the building, including a new steeple and a new entry stairway. Soleil West worked with the NM Historic Preservation Division to generate a design that most appropriately resolved the architectural issues of the building while still maintaining the building’s historic identity and aesthetic.

Robertson High School Media Center

Robertson High School 
Media Center

Kevin Balciar was the project architect for the Robertson High School Media Center in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The 6,400 square foot media center was built in 1989. Five years later, Soleil West designed an expansion to the media center to include a computer lab.

Robertson High School Band Room Remodel

Robertson High School Band Room
Soleil West remodeled the band room in 1994, to allow for a more creative environment. This project included the renovation of a large stage area in the band room. Also a ramp was added to the stage for handicapped accessibility.
